Photoshop lesson

I spent some time with my skilled friend Igor the other. He is getting me brought up to speed in photoshop. That  dude is wicked talented. Wicked....

I was very apprehensive about learning digital in college. I fancied myself a "painter". Wish I had realized then that digital is just another medium like oil or watercolor. There is a reasonable learning curve, I think I can do it... :)

Recent shows!

Last night was the Heroes and Villains show at the Record Archive. Had a ton of fun with the Dudes Night Out crew and made some waves with the Rochester public. We were well received. As far as first shows go it went really really well. Thanks to all who came out. Especially my family!

Life: post Christmas.

Hello boys and girlz! Things have been busy with the holidays and what-not but now that the insanity is over we can get back to business. There are a few shows coming up here in the near future that I have had the honor of being invited to! First off is "Heroes & Villains" with the group " Dudes Night Out". It's gonna be a blast! Deets in this link....

Secondly I have been invited to another show from my friends at 1975. The show is "Boys vs. Girls" and is a joint venture between 1975 and fellow gallery "The Yards". Nothing too solid yet for info but the show will go up sometime next month. More to come....

More art to come as well. Gotta find the time to scan.

Little James Stokeo influence.

Colored the Abomination. Happy with it. There is some James Stokeo influence in there. His comic Orc Stain is amazing if you're looking for a read.

Things are slow without my own computer.

I've been without my own computer now for about two months. It makes it a little harder to get things posted online but I do spend more time drawing. Seems worth it... First up is some continued character design i've been doing. Super alligator snapping turtles, abomination monsters, and mutated catfish guys. It's been a lot of fun honestly. There's some figure drawing in there from the latest Doctor Sketchys. That was a great time and always is! Lastly are some random doodles and monsters. Thanks for looking!
